In plain words: if you believe a photo, video, post or page on Closetbook infringes your copyright or trademark, email our designated agent with the details below and we'll take it down promptly. Users who repeatedly infringe are banned.

CAMMY LLC, the maker of Closetbook, responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and equivalent laws, and to trademark and counterfeit complaints on the same path.

Filing a notice (takedown)

Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work (or the registered trademark); (2) identification of the infringing material and where it appears (the page link, post or handle, or a screenshot); (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner; (6) your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable the material promptly and notify the user who posted it.

Product photos in the catalogue. Shop product images and names appear in Closetbook to identify products, taken from the shop's own product page, with a link back to it. A shop or brand that wants an image removed can write to the agent above and we will remove it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice containing: your contact information; identification of the removed material; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the removal was mistaken; consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, the Southern District of Florida); and your signature. Unless the complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. Misrepresenting a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages under §512(f).
