Community Guidelines

In plain words: post your clothes and your outfits. Other people appear only if they agreed; nobody under 13 ever does. Be honest about what you own, what you lend and what you link. Keep it clean, keep it kind, and say when a link pays you. Break the rules and the post comes down; keep breaking them and you're out. You can appeal once and a person decides.

These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service. They exist so that closets, circles and the feed stay honest and nobody's photo causes harm.

The rules

1. Your clothes, your outfits, your face if you want. Closetbook is about what you own and how you wear it. A photo of a piece on a hanger, on the floor or on you is what belongs here.
2. Other people only with their agreement. Anyone identifiable in a photo or video, other than you, must have agreed to appear. Nobody under 13 appears in anything, ever. Someone under 18 appears only if they are you or their parent agreed. When in doubt, crop.
3. Nothing sexual, nothing hateful, nothing violent. No nudity or sexual content (swimwear and underwear worn as clothing by an adult is fine; sexualised posing is not, and never for anyone under 18). No hate symbols, slurs, threats, harassment, doxxing or shaming of bodies, sizes or budgets. No weapons, drugs or illegal activity in frame.
4. Real pieces, real opinions. A piece you add is one you own. A post is something you wore or would. A poll is a real question about an outfit, never a rating of a person. No stock photos passed off as your closet, no fake reviews, no undisclosed sponsorship, no claims you can't back up, no fake urgency or invented discounts.
5. Links are honest and labelled. A shop link points to the item it names, at a shop you're allowed to link to. Never remove the "Paid links" notice; when you post a Closetbook link elsewhere, say that it can pay you. No links to counterfeits or to shops that sell them.
6. Lend and borrow like a friend. Ask before you take, return on the date, return it as you got it, photograph hand-offs and returns. Say so quickly if something goes wrong, to each other first. Never lend a piece that isn't yours to lend, never pass a borrowed piece to someone else, and never lend counterfeits, un-laundered intimates or swimwear, or anything with a tracker in it.
7. Circles are private rooms. Don't screenshot or repost what a friend shared with their circle. Don't invite strangers into a circle to browse someone else's closet.
8. No spam, no games. No bulk invitations, follow-for-follow schemes, bought followers or votes, bots, scripts, scraping, or clicking your own links. No promoting other services in captions or bios beyond your own social links.
9. No impersonation. Don't pose as a brand, a creator or another person, and don't use a handle that misleads.
10. No one's private information. No addresses, phone numbers, documents, screens, or a trip page for someone else's trip.

Enforcement

• Report. Every post, public page, creator page and circle member can be reported. Until the Report button reaches every screen, report to support@closetbook.app with a link or screenshot. Reporting is anonymous to the person reported. Reporting a post you merely dislike, to take it down, is itself a violation.
• Remove and block. You can remove anyone from your circle, unfollow anyone, and set any piece to Only me at any time.
• What we do. Content reported for illegal material or involving minors is hidden immediately and reviewed within 24 hours; everything else within 3 days. A person decides. You may appeal once by email and a person makes the final call.
• Strikes. Repeat violations lead to restrictions (no public pages, no posts), then suspension, then a permanent ban. Rule 2 (children), rule 3 (sexual or hateful content) and fraud skip the ladder.
• Serious illegal content is reported to the authorities where the law requires.
